This Privacy Policy applies to the Talko mobile application accessed through the iOS platform (hereinafter referred to as the "App") and all related services we provide.

We share data with the following service providers:

• OpenAI (Whisper)
  • Shared Data: Voice recordings, anonymized device identifiers
  • Purpose: Convert speech to text for grammar feedback and high-quality AI responses
• OpenAI (GPT-4o-mini)
  • Shared Data: Text conversation content, anonymized device identifiers
  • Purpose: Provide natural language conversation, grammar correction, and personalized learning suggestions

AI Model Usage Statement:

• We do not use your personal learning data, conversation history, or voice recordings to train third-party AI models
• Data sent to the above service providers is used only for real-time response generation
• Data will not be retained by these service providers for their own model training

2.6 Subscription Information

If you choose to subscribe to our paid services, we collect:

• Transaction Data: Purchase records processed through Apple payment system
• Subscription Status: Subscription type, start date, auto-renewal settings
• Restoration Records: Subscription restoration requests and records

Important Notice: Your payment credentials are processed by Apple. We do not store or collect your credit card information or other financial details.

2.7 Third-Party SDKs and Analytics Services

We use the following third-party SDKs and analytics services to improve product performance and user experience:

Facebook SDK Notice: Some Facebook-related attribution features may rely on permissions granted by you through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. You can manage these permissions in your system settings.

  • The consumption information may include, but is not limited to, usage duration, accessed features, or consumed content associated with the purchase
  • We will only share such information after you initiate a refund request and only to the extent permitted by applicable laws and App Store requirements
